on behalf of the Organization Committee, is honoured to announce the "2nd International Symposium on History Education" which will be held on 14-16 June 2012 by the Karadeniz Technical University, Fatih School of Education, Department of History Education, in Trabzon, Turkey.

The symposium intends to cover both domestic and international trends and problems in history education and synthesize the knowledge in this area. This symposium aims to bring partners of history educations and academics working in the field together, and hope to contribute a lot in this field.

Abstract: The deadline to submit paper or poster abstract is May 1, 2012.
Abstract should be formatted using "Times New Roman" font type, "12" font size, and "1.5" line spacing and the lenght of the abstract should not be exceed 250 words. Abstract should briefly state the objectives and scope of the paper along with research questions, findings and results. Also a minimum of 3 keywords should be added to abstract.
